GREAT FALLS, Mont.- Law enforcement officials are searching for an inmate they say walked away from the Great Falls Pre-Release Center.

Police say 37-year-old Steven Monroe left the center Sunday afternoon and didn't return. He was last seen wearing bleached blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a black parka and a black stocking cap.

Monroe is described as being 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.

It's not the pre releases fault, the goal of pre release is to get these guys back to productive members of society, there fore they are sent out to get jobs etc and on certain levels must take care of their own transportation..It's to and from the jobs when these guys "walk away" Pre release is doing it's job by integrating, w/o them you'd have guys direct from being institutionalized at your door step.

Makes me wonder if the pre-release is doing it job, come on guys we do not need more criminals on the streets. Was there not another fellow who did the same thing a couple of weeks ago.
