Graffiti Arrest in Helena

The Helena Police Department is releasing new information in the investigation regarding the vandalism that took place around the lower west side of Helena.

On the morning of March 3rd, police received 41 calls reporting criminal mischief and vandalism, including graffiti on garages, cars, and fences. The total estimated damage was $4,100.

Lieutenant Steve Hagen of the Helena Police Department said they arrested a 15 year old Helena boy and he has been charged with a criminal mischief felony. He is currently being held in the Cascade County Juvenile Detention facility.

School resource officers heading the investigation believe there are more individuals who are responsible for these crimes. The investigation and search for these individuals is on-going.
