Great Falls Police Looking for Man Who May Be Approaching Students

Great Falls police say they received complaints of a man attempting to talk to students walking around Sunnyside Elementary School this week.

The incidents happened on Monday and Thursday after regular school hours.

Police say the children report being stopped by a white male in his 40's with brown hair. The vehicle descriptions are different. One report indicates a red car with racing stripes on the side. The other vehicle description is a black full-sized crew cab pickup.

Considering this just happened; the police have alerted the public. I'm sure they are patrolling the area looking for this man and his multiple vehicles. As parents, we have to step up and be vigilant as well, to keep our kids safe, even if that means dropping our kids off and picking them up after school until this man is caught. By the way…how did you vote on the levy our police department and firefighters put before us? If we can’t support them financially then how about supporting them as law abiding citizens and do our part in our neighborhoods.

I agree, we are in a town that unless you hand the cops a crimminal on a silver platter they wont catch a crook. Watch our children cause you cant count on the cops.
