Biking to Support Special Olympics

Several volunteers decided to pedal for a cause... As they joined in, on the Hilly Hundred to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics.
Riders began in Shelby, and rode the approximately 100 miles to the Special Olympics Office in Great Falls.

Those on their bikes were accompanied by police escorts along their way, to ensure the riders safety.

The bikers involved said it wasn't the easiest ride, but their actions raised close to $40,000... Money that is essential to the special olympics.

The riders also said it was just nice to get back on a bike again, as well as helping the cause.
