The first thing that The Congress and The Senate will tell any company that is losing money is to cut cost, reduce overhead, and cut staff. but why when it comes to the Postal Service they talk out of both sides of their mouth. Cut cost but do it in some other District or state not mine. When did the Postal Service become the welfare for local government? Yes these are good paying jobs and they do generate taxes but when these jobs are totally gone then what are they going to do? Maybe The Postal Service could charge $1.00 to mail a letter and then keep everything opened but then no one would mail anything and then Postal employees would sit all day but at least they would get payed good money to do nothing? I am sorry that is what welfare is.
