Boston’s Care Campaign Raises Money for St. Jude’s

Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar in Great Falls is kicking off its Care campaign. Now through the end of February, Boston's is offering special dessert items including red velvet cheesecake, and for the first time, gluten-free brownie a la mode. It’s all to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a place that does not bill a family in need.

The Community Resource Correspondent for Boston’s in Great Falls, Leanne Bailly, explains St. Jude’s is “the only place that pays for child and an adult, for their traveling, food, and lodging for their entire stay which is great because no child is turned away”. During the past five years, 81 cents of every dollar donated to St. Jude’s supports research and treatment at the hospital. It costs $1.7 million each day to operate a hospital like St. Jude’s and more than 75% of that money comes from community programs like Boston’s Cares.

Paper hearts are available to buy for $1. Valentine's Day weekend, special heart shaped pizzas are also available. Whenever you get any of these special menu items, $1 will be donated to St. Jude's. The goal is to donate $75,000. This money will help treat children with deadly diseases like cancer.
