Cowboys BBQ Owner Arrested

The owner of Helena's Cowboys BBQ and Country Club was arrested last night on a warrant from Idaho.

On Saturday, Jimmie Russell of Wolf Creek was one of 3 people cited and released in relation to disorderly conduct.

The employees were arguing about wages that the owner allegedly owed to them.

Upon further investigation, authorities discovered Russell was wanted in Fremont County, Idaho for possession of stolen property and had a bond set at $20,000.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton says, “We did go out there. Deputies did arrest him for that warrant. There were some other states that were interested, but didn’t want to extradite. So, we arrested him on that warrant.”

Russell posted bond last night.

The future ownership of the restaurant is unknown at this time.
