Emteq Celebrates Grand Opening

By KFBB News Team

Emteq officially opened its doors today celebrating their grand opening with 111 job applicants in just the past two weeks.

Emteq invested in Great Falls back in 2008 but just opened up operations at the beginning of January.

The company specializes in avionics engineering - building wiring and electronics right here in the Electric City.

The company's CEO tells us they were attracted to Great Falls because of Malmstrom Air Force Base and also due to state incentives. He says they are looking to employ 45 workers by the end of the year.

“I hope that is has a very positive effect on Great Falls. Any time you can add jobs you’re creating a little bit of wealth for the community and that helps with paying taxes and helps with a variety of different things and then with just attracting a supply chain around it, it can be quite beneficial,” say Emteq Owner and CEO Jerry Jendusa.

Jendusa says Emteq has already hired 20 and they are currently working on a new electrical interface program for Honda aviation.
