Green Living Expo Coming to Great Falls

By KFBB News Team

With the success of the Home and Garden Show in the spring, the Home Builders Association has decided to host an expo in the fall as well. The first ever Green Living Expo is coming to Great Falls this October.

The expo will feature many aspects of living green from insulating your house to taking eco-friendly vacations. Organizers say going green is important and it can save money.

Some of the highlights include a motorized robot that mows the lawn, organic food, beer and wine, activities for children, literature and other unique home and life stylings.

Organizers say Great Falls often gets overlooked when it comes to being green, but that isn't the case. “People don't think of Great Falls as the green center that it is, but actually we have a lot of green opportunities in Great Falls. And it's great for the city to have this event” Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of Great Falls, Kate Hanning says.

The event will be October 15th, 16th and 17th at the ExpoPark. Booths are still available for vendors. Call the Home Builders Association for more information at (406) 452-4663.
