Mother bears will attack if their young is being threatened. When we were atYellowstone, a grizz was along the road, a ranger stopped traffic until the grizz moved on. I asked the ranger if they had many problems, only with people he said.they recently had a situation where a 3 year old girl was put on the back of a brown bear for pictures, the bear took off, mommy and daddy wanted the bear shot, once the little girl was back with her parents(sic) they were all led to the nearest park entrance and told not to come back.hooray for the rangers! It is posted all over the park to leave the animals alone! They are WILD, they will hurt or kill you if prevoked! i

What a bunch of liberal animal lovers. These people were attacked at night in a campground. Of course the bear was put down. Have you ever heard of learned behavior? This bear would have continued to be a threat to humans. Maybe the bear wasn't to blame, but that doesn't change the fact that human life is more valuable than that of animals.

I can't believe that everyone is willing to say something about these poor cubs yet not one person is addressing the fact that my son among many other children are kidnapped by the state and for human trafficking and are enslaved in state foster care for federal funding. Children are being forced to take psychotropic drugs which destroy children organs and cause brain damages and have absolutely no positive effect and only mask the problems for the worst. Meanwhile the fraud of bi polar and ADHD continue to bleed our Medicare and Social Security Benefits dry, and families are being destroyed and our children are being abused by the agency we pay to stop abuse. WAKE UP PEOPLE ARE YOU TELLING ME BEARS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN CHILDREN?

Sickening! The idiot who was mauled to death should have gone to a Marriott, where he could bask in the hot tub. Also, what are the details of the attack? A mama bear typically would attack if someone got between her and her cubs. Was this person trying to do something like that for a photo op? Regardless, this bear should not have been euthanized. It is simply WRONG! And now the cubs will live out their lives in a zoo, as people gawk at them while they eat their popcorn. Disgusting!

It was so wronge to put the bear down. Now the cubs go to a ZOO??? This is the epitomy of injustice. When you go into the woods you are no longer at the top of the food chain.If you can't deal with that stay at home.

This is so wrong!! The Momma Bear was just doing what its instincts dictated. They should have relocated them far away from humans. The baby bears now have horible lives. The moms paternal way of live now has been destroyed. Grizzleys are indangered and this just makes it worst. We need to preserve our animals health in our environments. I feel so sad for this mother and her kids. Its just so wrong!!!

Alright, listen. This is LIFE. GOT IT? Bears need to survive and protect to live we have our structures and anything to our expense to due demand for comfort. A bear isn't to blame because it doesn't have the type of reactions to things we do; thats its instinct. These people paid the price by going in bear territory and somebody said it was necessary to for euthanization because "we couldn't have it hurt anymore people"? My concern is we should conserve the life on this planet mainly considering WE ARE THE MAIN PROBLEM! Not a bear relying on only itself for protection of itself and its cubs. This world makes me sick by unnecessary decisions that are made and honestly spare no sympathy to people that make stupid decisions that get what they deserve for taking the risk of being in an environment in quite frankly, they do not belong in. I understand people go camping, but choosing to do so in an environment known for its vast/dangerous wildlife where warning signs had been posted? Dumb.
