Linen Drive Collects For Rescue Mission

By KFBB News Team

Today volunteers for the Great Falls Rescue Mission held their Annual Pajama and Linen Drive.

Members of the Order of the Eastern Star Masonic group collected linens, toiletries, and pajamas on he corner of 1st avenue north and 9th street.

People were invited to drop off donations for the Rescue Mission from 10 in the morning to mid-afternoon. Last year volunteers collected 20 truck loads of blankets, books, and clothes and hope to do so again this year.

“They’re overflowing over there, they now have three separate buildings,” said volunteer Corri Dorrington. “They need all of the bedding, the linen, the pajamas…toiletries to give to the people. And then when the people leave the Rescue Mission they actually can take whatever they’ve acquired while they’re there.”

Corri says if you missed the drive today, but still like to drop off donations, to go to the Rescue Mission on 2nd Avenue south.
