Male Body Found Along Montana's Hi-Line

By KFBB News Team

Authorities are investigating the discovery of a male body along northeastern Montana’s hi-line near the North Dakota border.

Roosevelt County Sheriff, Freedom Crawford, says the body was found in a ditch along U.S. Highway 2 near Bainville.

Crawford says authorities are trying to determine the cause of death. They're getting help from the State Division of Criminal Investigations.

The sheriff would not say whether foul play was involved - nor would he comment on the man's age.

Meantime, landowners in that same area are still being asked by authorities to search their property for any signs of missing Sidney teacher, Sherry Arnold.

The FBI says it believes Arnold may be dead, she was last seen on a morning run January 7th.

Two men being held in connection with her disappearance are awaiting an extradition hearing in North Dakota.
