Tim Fox Files to Run for Attorney General

By KFBB News Team

Republican Tim Fox filed for the Attorney General position at the capitol this morning.

The attorney and Montana City resident says if elected, he'll crack down on the sexual offender registry, which he says needs to be fixed.

He says, “I want to make sure that for many generations to come, this is a wonderful place to work and to live, but we can’t do that without jobs. An attorney general can make sure that we have jobs through the Land Board. We can’t do that without having safe places for our kids and protecting them from sexual predators. We can’t do that without protecting Montanans from consumer fraud and internet fraud and scam artists.”

This is fox's second try for the position; he ran in 2008, but lost to current Attorney General Steve Bullock.
