Weber Appointed As New County Commissioner

After delays and controversy, the Cascade County Commission has finally reached a decision on appointing a replacement for Peggy Beltrone's soon to be vacant seat.
The decision was supposed to have been made on Tuesday, but when commissioners couldn't agree on who should fill the vacant seat, the decision was tabled.
Another meeting was held Thursday and a decision finally reached.
The position will be filled by Jane Weber, former director of the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.
Weber was one of three candidates, and was nominated by Commissioner Salina.
