Woman Accused of Riding Along for Stolen Car Chase Headed to Trial

A woman involved in a stolen car crash will go to trial.

Tracy Kitchell, 30, is charged with felony theft for her role in the alleged car theft and resulting crash.

She and co-defendant, Jeremy Gauthier, 22, are accused of stealing a car in Cascade, then leading police on a high speed chase around the Crystal Inn and Flying J in Gore Hill before colliding with another vehicle.

According to the clerk of court, Thursday, Kitchell attempted to plead guilty to the charge against her, but the judge would not all allow it, because she cannot remember what happened that night.
