Woman Charged with Stabbing Her Boyfriend in Court

A woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend appeared in court Thursday.

Billie Rae Dupree is charged with felony assault with a weapon for stabbing her boyfriend in the neck with a beer bottle.

Thursday she entered a not guilty plea.

According to court documents, the victim sustained a small puncture wound to his neck, cuts on his chest and arm and a bloody lip.

Witnesses say he was already injured when they saw him entering his apartment at 503 3rd Avenue North.

Reports indicate Dupree originally told police the victim was "jumped" while getting gas. Court documents say she had active warrants issued for her arrest at the time.
