National News Montana Tree Headed To Washington D.C. Just think how hard it is to find and cut down the perfect family Christmas tree, but what if you needed one to represent the entire country? Apparently the trees are so nice right here in Montana that one of our has been chosen to grace the lawn of our nation's capitol. This Subalpine fur has been rooted in the Bitterroot National Forest for 100 years. Now it will be traveling 3500 miles all the way to Washington D.C.
