Update: Romney Beats Santorum by 8 Votes in Closest Iowa Caucus in History

Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney have been
waging a seesaw battle in Iowa's Republican presidential caucuses.
Returns from most of the state's precincts show Santorum ahead
but the margin of separation is razor thin.
Until recently, Santorum had trailed in the polls. An entrance
poll showed the former Pennsylvania senator, has solid backing from
tea party supporters, religious voters and other conservatives.
The same survey showed Romney has strong support among
Republicans who hope to see the GOP win the White House.
Ron Paul is running third. Newt Gingrich is headed for a
fourth-place finish, trailed by Rick Perry.
Michele Bachmann is far behind.
