3 killed in collision between bus, SUV

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says three adults were killed in a fiery collision between a school bus and a sport utility vehicle on Montana Highway 200 west of Circle.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash, which was reported at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Trooper Nyle Obergfell says an eastbound SUV drifted over into the westbound lane and collided head-on with the bus. Both vehicles caught fire.

The woman driving the bus and the man and the woman in the SUV were killed. Their names have not been released.

The bus was on its way to pick up students who attend school in Circle.
