Man pleads guilty to GFalls bank robberyGREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A 68-year-old transient has pleaded guilty to robbing a Great Falls bank of $620 in April. KFBB-TV reports that Walter Barrentine pleaded guilty Thursday to felony robbery and in exchange, prosecutors dropped a misdemeanor theft charge. Barrentine admitted to passing a note to a teller at Stockman Bank, demanding $100, $50 and $20 bills. He was arrested shortly at a bar on the same day as the robbery. Prosecutors say he used money from the robbery to buy a drink. Prosecutors are recommending a 20-year prison sentence with 10 suspended.
