BILLINGS - Two inmates have escaped from the Montana Women's Prison in Billings. The state Department of Corrections says 27-year-old Alicia L. Luke and 31-year-old Jenny L. Terrell escaped at about 9 a.m. Sunday. Both were kitchen workers and apparently left through a kitchen receiving area on the north side of the prison.

The prison initiated emergency procedures, and law enforcement agencies in the surrounding areas were notified of the escape. Luke and Terrell both were serving two-year sentences for escape in connection with walking away from prerelease centers.

The Corrections Department says it considers any escaped convict dangerous and urges anyone with information on the women to contact local law enforcement.
