MONTANA - The Montana Highway Patrol reports a 35-year-old Great Falls man died in a motorcycle accident around 2:45 Saturday afternoon on the Seeley-Swan Highway.

A funeral director identified the man as Jeff Matteucci. Trooper James Snyder said Matteucci was driving too fast to get around a righthand curve on Highway 83. The motorcyclist hit the guard rail on the left side of the road and was thrown from his motorcycle several feet down an embankment.

Earlier Saturday, a Columbia Falls man was driving a vehicle west on U.S. Highway 2, near West Glacier, when his vehicle rolled over and ejected him from the vehicle and injured three passengers. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Flathead County sheriff's office identified the victim as 22-year-old Michael Willcut.
