Man shot to death, 2 suspects in custody

KALISPELL - Lincoln County authorities say a 67-year-old man was apparently shot to death at a campground near Libby over the weekend, and two suspects were being questioned.

The man's body was found around 5 a.m. Sunday, at the Sylvan Lake Campground in the Kootenai National Forest southwest of Libby. Two suspects, a 19-year-old woman and a 17-year-old juvenile, are jailed in Flathead County.

Authorities say the two fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. The man's name and hometown haven't been released. His body was taken to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
