MISSOULA - A two-vehicle crash killed a 52-year-old man and injured two others in western Montana. It happened about 9:30 Tuesday night.

The Montana Highway Patrol says an eastbound Chevrolet Cobalt was exceeding the speed limit on Interstate 90 near St. Regis when the small car rear-ended an Isuzu van, also traveling east.

The collision caused the van to veer to the right, head off the shoulder of the road and roll. The Cobalt went left, spun through the median and came to rest in the westbound lanes of I-90.

The 52-year-old man was in the Cobalt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people in the van were injured. They were taken to Mineral County Hospital in Superior. No names have been released.
