DILLON - The body of a 49-year-old Hamilton man was found in the Big Hole River over the weekend, downstream from where his pickup crashed into the river.

Beaverhead County officials received a 911 call at about 3:40 p.m. Friday about a one-vehicle crash on Montana Highway 43, about 11 miles north of Wisdom. Responding officers found a pickup truck in the river, but no one inside.

The body of Kurt D. Olsen was found Saturday afternoon, submerged in the river, about 200 feet down river from where his pickup was located.

Sheriff Jay Hansen says the coroner is investigating the cause of death.
