HELENA - A federal judge has imposed a five-year prison sentence on a Montana man who subscribed to a child pornography Web site.

Sixty-four-year-old Kenneth Hall of Elliston, near Helena, apologized at his sentencing on Friday. Undercover investigators found Hall paid $79.95 for a 30-day subscription to the Web site in late 2006. Examination of a computer confiscated at his home showed that he visited the site.

After release from prison, Hall will be supervised by a probation officer for seven years.
