FALLON - A North Dakota man has died from injuries suffered in a weekend crash in eastern Montana's Prairie County.

The Montana Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Charles Luedtke of the Bismarck-Mandan area of North Dakota was a passenger in a car that went off a gravel road four miles south of Fallon on Saturday.

The patrol says the driver lost control of the car on a turn. Neither Luedtke nor the driver, 49-year-old Daniel Beelmann, used a seat belt.

Luedtke was flown to a hospital in Bismarck and died there on Monday. Beelmann, also from the Bismarck-Mandan area, was taken to a Billings hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
