Body of missing Wolf Point teen found near Poplar

POPLAR - The body of a missing Wolf Point High School student has been found near Poplar.

Jose Figueroa, public safety director for the Fort Peck Tribe, says 17-year-old Desmond Clark was found dead late Monday afternoon. No information has been released about how Clark died. He had been missing since late Friday night.

The search began Sunday evening and focused on an area five miles southeast of Poplar that is filled with brush, trees and alfalfa fields. Family members said Clark attended an outdoor party with other teenagers near the Missouri River on Friday night and left after fighting with another male.

RIP Desmond, I am sorry you had to live and die on the rez. Nobody should have to be murdered because they are wanting more out of life than the other stinky rez folk
