Man dies in pickup crash near Dillon

BUTTE - A 46-year-old Beaverhead County man died when he was thrown from his pickup truck after it rolled on Interstate 15 just south of Dillon.

Coroner Ron Briggs says Chreston F. Adams died at the scene of the crash Sunday night. The Montana Highway Patrol says Adams was southbound in the left lane of the interstate when he tried to move into the right lane. Trooper Joseph Wyant says Adams overcorrected in trying to make the lane change and his pickup rolled several times in the ditch. Adams was ejected from the pickup and died at the scene.
