Wolf Point principal honored by MASSP

HELENA - Joseph Paine, principal at Wolf Point junior and senior highs, was named the state's principal of the year by the Montana Association of Secondary School Principals.

Paine was honored at a recent MASSP banquet in Helena. Paine began working at Wolf point as an industrial arts instructor in 1991. He became dean of students in 2003 and 9-12 principal in 2005.

He was honored for using input from school personnel in making decisions as well as for his involvement in the community. Paine is eligible for the national school principal of the year award given by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
