BOZEMAN - The Montana Dinosaur Trail has opened for the season with displays of dinosaur fossils and replicas across the state.

The trail's 15 displays include Leonardo, the mummy dinosaur, one of the world's best preserved specimens, in Malta; Peck's Rex, a full-size T-Rex skeleton and a lifelike replica, in Fort Peck; the largest collection of dinosaurs uncovered in the United States, in Bozeman; and North America's first baby dinosaur bones, in Bynum.

Last year, more than 267,000 people visited the Dinosaur Trail, one-third from other states or countries.
