HELENA - For the third time in Montana, a winner has claimed a $1 million prize in the multistate Powerball game.

Marilyn Bateson of Circle, accompanied by husband Chris, claimed her prize at state Lottery headquarters Monday. Marilyn Bateson co-owns a restaurant in Circle, the Wooden Nickel. She bought a $6 Powerball ticket with Power Play from Schmidt's Super Valu in Circle for the June 10 drawing.

Marilyn is a regular Powerball player and says she always adds the Power Play option. Without Power Play, her prize would have been $200,000. Previously, a $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in October 2005 to Brittnie and Dan Keilman of Missoula. Another was sold in April 2009 to Adam and Mandy Clark of East Missoula.
