MILES CITY - A longtime Miles City OB/GYN, who was placed on leave two months ago, is no longer an employee of the Billings Clinic, Billings Clinic Foundation officials said.

When Dr. Randall Rauh was placed on leave on May 1, patients and other supporters complained that they were not informed. Some learned when arriving for appointments with Rauh.

Billings Clinic spokesman Jim Duncan says the clinic will not comment on why Rauh was placed on leave or let go. Rauh has been providing obstetrics and gynecology care in Miles City for about 25 years. He joined Billings Clinic in Miles City when it added a wing for women's services about four years ago.

There is no phone listing for Rauh in Miles City besides the clinic number.
