GREAT FALLS - A Great Falls area fire chief is accused of striking and killing 21-year-old Sasha Holt with his vehicle on Fox Farm Road in Great Falls.

Jason Caughey turned himself in to police Friday night on a charge of failure to remain at an injury/fatality crash scene. Bail was set at $200,000 and Caughey bonded out of jail Saturday.

Cascade County Attorney John Parker says additional charges could be filed against Caughey, who is chief of the Gore Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He's also a reserve deputy with the Cascade County Sheriff's Office.

Holt was killed early Wednesday, after a southbound vehicle struck her while she was walking home from a party around 12:45 a.m. The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
