RONAN - Ronan police say a 20-year-old Polson man has been arrested in connection with the beating of a dog.

Art Walgren, the assistant police chief, says Kristopher Lawson was arrested at his parents' home in Polson last week and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony.

Walgren says the German shepherd was beaten Oct. 4. He says an exam showed the dog suffered multiple skull fractures and other injuries. The dog had to be euthanized.

The guy should receive the same treatment he doled out to his dog and then be euthanized himself. The world would probably be better off without that idiot.
