MISSOULA - Authorities say a 68-year-old man was killed when he fainted and drove his all-terrain vehicle off of a 50-foot embankment near Alberton.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was riding with a friend in the Moose Creek Road area when he crashed Tuesday afternoon. The family identified the man as Ruben E. Sayler Jr. of Alberton.

Mineral County Sheriff Hugh Hopwood says Sayler died of blunt force trauma.
