BOZEMAN - The Belgrade School Board has decided to fire the district's clerk and business manager after she pleaded guilty to embezzling money from a Bozeman wrestling club.

Board members unanimously voted Monday night to fire 42-year-old Susan Lang, who is accused of taking between $15,000 and $20,000 from the Bozeman Hawks Wrestling Club over the last 5 or 6 years. She was a bookkeeper for the organization.

Lang pleaded guilty last month to felony embezzlement and is expected to be sentenced Dec. 14. Schools Superintendent Herb Benz has said he does not believe Lang took any money from Belgrade schools.
