HAVRE - The second of three Havre men who pleaded guilty to their roles in stealing fireworks and setting a fireworks stand on fire last summer has been given a suspended sentence.

District Judge David Rice sentenced 18-year-old Lester Skramstad on Friday to 10 years with the Department of Corrections, all suspended. Rice credited Skramstad with 96 days served in jail and ordered him to serve another 120 days in jail at the convenience of the sheriff.

Co-defendant Charles Stratton was given a six-year deferred sentence and both were ordered to help pay nearly $56,000 in restitution. A third co-defendant, Anthony Groce, pleaded guilty on Friday and sentencing is set for March 26.
