Butte woman injured in snowmobile accident

By The Associated Press

BOZEMAN - A Butte woman had to be rescued after she was injured in a snowmobile crash outside Yellowstone National Park.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's office says that the 43-year-old woman crashed Saturday on the Two Top trail in southern Montana near the Idaho border. The sheriff's office said Monday the woman injured her shoulder after being thrown from the snowmobile.

The woman was taken off the trail on a rescue sled and transported by ambulance to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. The woman was not identified. Deputy Mark Murphy says he does not know the extent of the woman's injuries and had no other details about the accident.
