Cats, Griz Playoff Games Not Available On Montana Television

By KFBB News Team

GREAT FALLS -

Both the Cats and Griz are in the post season FCS playoffs. Both teams are home for round one and tickets have gone on sale in Missoula and Bozeman.

But, if you’re wanting to catch Montana State’s game against New Hampshire the only way you can watch it is by attending. ESPN has the broadcast rights for the FCS and the network is showing the first two rounds on ESPN-3.

Which is an internet based channel.

The rub in all of this is Montana does not have an internet provider that carries ESPN-3 and the network is not offering syndication rights to Max Media which produces Bobcat game day during the regular season.

KFBB is working to track and see if the game can be watched on mobile devices.
