The Montana Grizzlies beat the Eastern Washington Eagles, 17-14 in a defensive slugfest.

EWU cut the Griz lead to 17-14 with 10:32 left in the contest. But the Griz withstood three more Eagle possessions and ended the comeback with an interception by sophomore linebacker John Kanonagata.
