Carroll Picked #1 In Frontier Coaches Poll

WHITEFISH, Mont., Aug. 13, 2011 — Defending Frontier Conference champion and NAIA national champion Carroll College is the preseason favorite of the league’s football coaches to repeat as champions for the 2011 season. The Saints received five first place votes.

Eastern Oregon received one first place vote and tied for second in the overall balloting with Rocky Mountain College. Montana Tech and MSU-Northern were tied for third with Montana Western finishing last.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth five points, second place worth four points, third place worth three points, fourth place worth two points and fifth place worth one point.
