The number three ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints are still undefeated this season after defeating their biggest rival Montana Tech 17-0 on Saturday.

The Saints scored in the first quarter when Gabe Le scampered into the endzone from six yards out giving Carroll the 7-0 lead.

The scored stayed the same until the third when Quarterback John Barnett hooked up with David Wittmoyer in the endzone from eleven yards putting the Saints up 14-0.

But the big story was the Saints defense. Carroll had fifteen sacks on Tech Quarterback Matt Komac setting a new NAIA record.

The Saints begin their second half of the Frontier Conferencee season next Saturday when they take on Rocky Mountain College at home.

GF may double parking meter fees from 25 to 50 cents an hour. What do you think?

  • They need the money & I can afford it.
  • Another reason for me not to shop downtown.
  • A smaller increase will keep me shopping downtown.
  • Toss the meters, parking should be free.
