Fink signs with Western

By KFBB Sports_Team

DILLON, Mont., May 7, 2008 – Grant Fink, a 6’7” forward from Helena, Mont., has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Steve Keller.

Fink averaged points and 10.3 rebounds for Helena High School this past season. He earned first team all-state honors and was selected to play in this summer’s Montana-Wyoming All-Star Game.

“We are excited about the signing of Grant Fink to our program,” said Keller. “Grant is a player with great size and athleticism. He can step out and hit the perimeter shot, as well as be a force on the inside. We feel Grant has the potential to be a great player in the Frontier Conference.”

In addition to basketball, he also participated in golf. Fink joins his older brother Garrett on the Bulldog roster.

He will graduate this spring from Helena High School and plans to major in business. Fink is the son of Rueben and Debbie Fink.
