Well so far its 3 games and 3 wins. Tonight we squared off against the Wareham Gatemen. We took a 2-0 lead early off a hit batter, an error, a bloop single, and a wild pitch. Not exactly tearing the cover off the ball but we'll take it. Wareham bounced back though and took a 3-2 lead... the first time we've been behind in 3 games. We tied it on a sacrifice fly a couple innings after we fell behind. We pushed across a couple runs in the 8th and then we shut the door in the 9th. To be honest we didn't really play that well. We pitched ok, we didn't hit very well, and our defense was a little shaky. We did make a couple really nice plays though... Evan Crawford (Indiana) made a great catch against the rightfield wall, we turned a key double play late in the game, and the final out of the game our 3rd baseman Jeff Kobernus (Cal-Berkley) knocked a ball down with his chest and then picked it up and made a strong throw to get the runner by a step. Tomorrow we travel to play the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. They have won the Cape League Championship the last two years.
