Kimball, CCBL Weblog Day 26

By KFBB Sports_Team

Saturday, June 21

We suffered our second loss of the season on Saturday. Basically what it boiled down to was the fact that our pitchers struggled throwing strikes and Harwich had a guy that we just couldn't get out. Joseph Saunders (Auburn) finished they day for them going 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and home run... he killed us. They took a 3-0 lead on us in the 3rd and held a 2 or 3 run lead the whole game. In the 9th though we had a chance to tie it up or even take the lead. We entered the 9th down 5-2 but we scored one early and then loaded the bases with one out. Their closer though, Michael Morrison (Cal State-Fullerton) struck out 2 of our guys while we had the bases loaded and down just 2 runs. Sunday we play the Bourne Braves again who we already have a win against. Some rain is expected today though so hopefully we get it in.

GF may double parking meter fees from 25 to 50 cents an hour. What do you think?

  • They need the money & I can afford it.
  • Another reason for me not to shop downtown.
  • A smaller increase will keep me shopping downtown.
  • Toss the meters, parking should be free.
