Kimball, CCBL Weblog Day 28

By KFBB Sports_Team

Monday, June 23

Today was our first day of Kettleers camps. The camp goes from 9am - noon and is open to kids ages 6-12. For the most part everything went very smooth... hopefully the rest of the week goes as well. We had our second rain out of the year tonight. Actually it was more of a cancellation due to lightning. Every time lightning is seen in the area NCAA rules say that we need to wait 30 minutes before resuming play. The game kept getting pushed further and further back until it was just decided to move it to Wednesday night. It turned out to be a good decision because on the bus ride back home it started to pour. I was looking forward to having a night off on Wednesday but I guess thats how it goes. Now I think we play 14 days in a row. Matt Fairel (Florida St.) is scheduled to pitch tomorrow for us at home.

GF may double parking meter fees from 25 to 50 cents an hour. What do you think?

  • They need the money & I can afford it.
  • Another reason for me not to shop downtown.
  • A smaller increase will keep me shopping downtown.
  • Toss the meters, parking should be free.
