Right now we're firing on all cylinders. We beat Falmouth tonight 9-2. We have the best record in the Cape by a full 2 games and a couple different websites have us ranked as the number one summer team in the nation. Our duo from Auburn both homered for us (Kevin Patterson and Mike Bianucci) and Jason Kipnis (Arizona St.) had a 4 hit game. Matt Fairel (Florida St.) pitched six strong innings, struck out six, and only gave up three hits. Falmouth's starter was Jorge Reyes who pitches for Oregon St. and was the MVP of the College World Series a couple years ago. We scored 8 runs in the first four innings though to chase him out of the game. Saturday night we face the Brewster Whitecaps who we beat in our season opener. Seth Blair (Arizona St.) is scheduled to start for us and Brewster is throwing Tim Clubb (Missouri St.) who leads the league in ERA.
