By KFBB Sports_Team

Great Falls, MT – University of Great Falls women’s basketball coach is pleased to announce that local student-athletes Rebecca Schultz, Kylie Diedrich and out-of-state recruit Adrienne East have all signed NAIA Letters of Intent to attend UGF, making them Chaffin’s first signees of his 2010 recruiting class.

Schultz is a 5’10” forward from right here in Great Falls where she currently attends Great Falls High School. She plans to major in business administration.

“I’m looking forward to joining the basketball team and being a part of the student body,” Schultz said. “I really feel that both the university and the team were good fits for me.”

“We are excited that Rebecca is joining our program,” Chaffin commented. “She plays incredibly hard with a high motor and she is a tremendous teammate. Rebecca plays a bigger game than her size indicates and she is a strong student with leadership potential.”

Diedrich, also from Great Falls, is a 5’7” guard who currently attends Foothills Christian School. She will also enter the business administration major.

“Kylie is a strong student of the game who comes from a great family,” Chaffin said. “She is a good catch-and-face shooter and we are excited to have the chance to develop her game further.”

“I’m very excited and thankful to be a part of the Lady Argo basketball program,” Diedrich said. “I’m also looking forward to our teams’ future success in the Frontier Conference.”

East will come to UGF from Vernonia, OR. She is a 5’6” guard who plans to study psychology.

“We are excited that Adrienne has chosen to come play here at the University of Great Falls. She is a tremendous student and a good fit for our program,” said Chaffin.
