QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH MIKE VAN DIEST

“We are very impressed with this latest group of student-athletes who have committed to Carroll College and our football program.” said Head Coach Mike Van Diest, who recently completed his 11th season at Carroll. “The three in-state student-athletes are very talented and will be names that everyone who follows Carroll College football will know. Bryan Graupman is one of the most talented defensive linemen in the Rocky Mountain Area. We would have recruited Bryan no matter where he played.

“Mayernik and DeVries are multi-sport athletes who will excel in college once they settle into one sport and one position,” Van Diest added. “Hendrickson is a very talented athlete on both sides of the ball and indoor track has helped him develop tremendous speed and quickness. Jim Hogan (Carroll assistant coach) did an outstanding job in the Seattle area this year and Nick Skinner is one of the top offensive linemen from the area. We were able to pick up Matt Kriz late and I am excited to see how he develops in the next year or two. We now have signed 20 athletes in this year’s class to date.”
